Originally a $750,000 purchase by Ciaron Maher bloodstock at the 2022 Inglis Ready2Race Sale, he is a nice lean type – your typical Dundeel middle-distance physique who covers the ground in ease.
NONDISCLOSURE broke his maiden at Kembla Grange against his own age at 1500m – a race that has produced 4 subsequent
winners. The overall time was solid as he controlled the race at a moderate tempo and held off the chasers behind him with strong work past
the post.
NONDISCLOSURE was then thrown in the deep end at his next start in the 3YO Geelong Classic over 2200m before being
sent for a spell. He then resumed his next preparation for two runs well below his best – but most importantly without the blinkers.
He has been spelling since and is ready to return to work. Horses by Dundeel can be quite immature early but are big benefactors of
blinkers. His pedigree suggests that he will be most effective at distances beyond a mile. A change of environment and under the care of
Nick Walsh who has done an outstanding job for our team already. Currently striking at 30% winners his last 50 runners. We believe he can be
a valuable purchase to go through the middle-distance grades in Central Queensland.
His racing pattern takes luck of the equation – he races in a forward position and can sustain a long run based on the sectional data which supports his pedigree mentioned earlier. He profiles very similar to our first purchase in AWOL who won three races from eight starts for us in 2024 and collected $40,200 in prizemoney for his owners. NONDISCLOSURE currently carries a benchmark rating of 62 in Victoria and eligible for a class 1 race so there will be plenty of options to begin his campaign.
